About

I design distinctive books for galleries, museums, 
cultural institutions and individuals.

I am drawn to discovering and implementing designs
that express a subject's true nature and, by extension, 
look very natural.

I am based in Seattle but enjoyed working for ten
years at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
where I was responsible for both publications and
graphic design. I credit these years with helping
me understand (and work within) the culture of
my clients' institutions.

I don't do all of this by myself.

I have a network of unflinching project managers, 
scrupulous editors, visionary print production
supervisors, and masterful printers both here
and abroad who can bring your books to life.
